Hello, hello! Here is the latest tutorial I did for UK magazine Web Designer issue 161. This one focuses on creating a web template from typography and graphic elements. Veering from that, I went with the theme of a club poster promoting a fantastical party. Woo!

80's Style
Hi! This is my latest tutorial appearing in UK magazine Web Designer. This time around, neon colours, fun doodles and patterns adorn the template in true 80's retro style. What fun! As a child of the 80s, it's definitely one of my favourite eras, if not the best. Totally rad!!

Girlband Web Template
Web Designer magazine issue 158 is on sale now! This time, I channel my music tastes to create this tutorial template for a teen girl band. Electric colours, bright lights and attitude vamp up the page.
On another thought, maybe I should start a girlband...

Newspaper Headings
Hello! Just wanted to tell you about the latest Web Designer magazine, issue 157 (that's the cover up top) :)
This month, I cover how to create web headers inspired by newspaper styles like a financial newspaper, retro broadsheet and trashy tabloids. As always, it was fun coming up with the tutorials and this time, I got to "invent" my own news, which made it extra fun! Perhaps I can moonlight as a news reporter / journalist documenting fictitious news?

Owl: People Power
This is an old web layout I designed for Owl magazine during my internship. It was for their World Watch section, which has seasonal coverage on a particular world issue. Mine was called People Power and it illustrates how a certain machine made the lives of women and girls easier in Africa!

Sketchy / Doodly Website
Hola world! This is the latest tutorial created for Web Designer magazine (from UK) on designing a sketchy / doodly template. I pulled out my box of trusty pencil crayons (childhood faves) and pens and went to town. Fluttering shapes, fun colours and striped lines where the way to go! Oh how I miss the days of doodling and sketching away with no worry of the rest of the world...

Twitter Background
Hi world! Sorry for the delayed post; been really busy lately!
This is a Twitter background created for Web Designer magazine. The theme is web design (of course!) and I infused it with flowing clouds, waves, decorative code, and navigation icons! Weeee........

Grunge / Scrapbook Web Template
My fourth tutorial on web template design for UK magazine Web Designer. This time, I used found cloths, trims and fabrics as well as my own illustrated pattern - ok, and a pic of moi - to conjure up a style reminiscent of nostalgic scrapbooks!

Mmm cupcakes and dessert...this is the third tutorial for Web Designer magazine from UK. This crafty banner is inspired by real-life elements! Soft plaid, hearty wallpaper and scrumptious cupcakes are just the icing :)

Vacation Website Template
This is the second web design template for Web Designer magazine (from UK). This tutorial focuses on designing a layout using large background images for a travel / vacation company. I added extra flair with fun icons. Sandy beach, palm trees and crystal clear water - I'm so there!

Fashion Website Template
This is a fashion e-commerce web layout for UK magazine Web Designer. It was created as a tutorial on web template design using Photoshop and Illustrator. One of my favourite things working on this was coming up with cute girly names for the dresses. My faves are Helena Urbanite and Fun Francine! (I'm such a girly girl, aren't I?!)
It is in the current issue of the magazine, yay! More details here: http://www.webdesignermag.co.uk/tutorials/produce-ecommerce-sites-with-genuine-style/
